Shortly after 9:02 a.m. crews responded to reports of a bus that had crashed into the right-hand shoulder on the northbound SR-163. Crews were able to access and open the bus door to access the bus driver and passengers at approximately 9:17 a.m. Two individuals were transported to nearby hospitals, one in acute condition and the other with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident was turned over to California Highway Patrol following transport.
Total assigned units include: 2 Engines, and 2 Medics. A total of 12 personnel have been assigned. A fire investigator has not been assigned.
