SDFD crews, Chula Vista Fire, National City Fire & other partners responded to three spot fires near Kaanapali Way. All fires have been knocked down with aerial support. The northbound side of Beyer Blvd is currently closed from Kaanapali Way to Main St. Please avoid the area.
Total assigned units include: 7 Admins, 1 DivChief, 1 Rehab, 6 Engines, 3 Brush Rigs, 4 Batt Chs, 2 Type 1 Helos, 1 Deputy Ch, 1 Type 2 Helo, and 2 Strike Team Type Numbers. A total of 60 personnel have been assigned. A fire investigator has been assigned.
